- If you have a layover returning home, be sure to allot at least 3 hours to get through customs and security!

Passports
All travelers will need a valid passport to enter the Mexico. It is strongly recommended that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your return date to avoid any travel issues.
If you need to apply for a new passport or renew an existing one, please allow adequate processing time. Passport processing typically takes 6 to 8 weeks, so it is best to start this process as soon as possible.
